Introducing Product IQ

One source of truth that ensures AI gets your products right.

Marketing teams have more AI than ever. So why is accurate, on-brand product content still so hard to scale?

The honest answer is that deploying AI is not the same as operationalizing it. Most teams are layering agents onto product data that is scattered across spreadsheets, PIMs, and siloed storage drives, and never governed. The result is agentic pilots that impress in a demo and break in production, especially across large or regulated catalogs: a wrong spec here, a missing disclaimer there, and in regulated industries, product content carries real legal and compliance risk the moment it is published. Buyers notice, too: 68% are more skeptical of vendor content when they know AI created it, and 61% question its accuracy when AI is involved (Forrester, 2026).

That is why we built Product IQ. The hard problem was never content generation. It was the governed context around it: grounding every agent in your real product truth, enforcing that truth as they generate, and keeping it current as your catalog changes. Get that right and every generation clears the bar, with exact specs, approved claims, and disclaimers that hold up when a buyer checks them. And because AI ingests what you publish, accuracy matters more than ever. You earn trust with the person reading and the AI answering on your behalf.

Meet Product IQ: The governance layer your AI stack is missing

The teams pulling ahead have stopped competing on volume. They win on governance: making sure everything they produce, and everything AI says about them, stays accurate, on-brand, and trustworthy at scale.

Jasper has been that governance layer for years. Jasper IQ governs how AI represents your brand: Brand Voice for how you sound, Style Guide for the rules, Audiences for who content is for, and Knowledge Base for your facts. Every agent and workflow generates from that shared, governed context instead of a blank page.

Your products are the highest-stakes representation of all. They carry the specs a buyer decides on, the pricing that has to be right, and the claims and disclaimers that carry legal weight. They are also the hardest to keep straight, because product details live in more places and change more often than anything else you publish.

As AI execution scales across your organization, ungoverned product truth does more than slow teams down. It compounds inconsistency. One agent invents a spec. Another drops a required disclaimer. A third repeats last quarter's price across a hundred pages. The same product ends up described three different ways, and that ungoverned content is what AI ingests and serves the next buyer.

And the stakes run higher than a weaker story. A wrong spec erodes trust. A wrong claim or a missing disclaimer becomes legal exposure. In regulated categories, an unapproved claim or an off-label statement can trigger regulatory action, fines, or a recall, and it is far harder to walk back once it is live and AI has already picked it up.

Product IQ changes that. It extends the governance you already trust from your brand to your products, so the highest-stakes content you produce is finally governed like everything else.

How Product IQ works

Product IQ grounds every agent in your product truth. It captures your product context, applies it at generation time, enforces your claims and disclaimers, and pushes a single change across your whole catalog at once.

Define. You capture each product in a fully customizable schema: specs, pricing, value props, differentiators, approved taglines, regulatory disclaimers, and more. Or you let agentic setup search your Knowledge Base and the web, draft the schema, and import your catalog, so you start from a populated catalog instead of a blank page.

Apply. Every agent and workflow generates from that product truth automatically at generation time. Content comes out accurate and on-claim from the first draft, with no one re-briefing the AI on each product.

Govern. Approved claims and required disclaimers are strictly enforced, so consistency and compliance hold across every page, channel, and region as volume grows.

Update. When a product changes, you update it once in Jasper. That change cascades across your content creation workflows and keeps the truth current everywhere your team generates: across every Jasper surface, from Chat and Canvas to Grid, Project Settings, and Agents, and in the outside AI systems they use through the Jasper MCP Server.

All of it runs with the access controls and governance an enterprise deployment demands, so you scale without losing control.

How teams are using Product IQ

Product truth shows up differently in every catalog, but the payoff is consistent. Here is where Product IQ is making the biggest difference for early customers, by industry and by team.

Across industries

Consumer electronics and hardware. Specs, compatibility, and ratings stay accurate across thousands of SKUs and every regional variant, and launch content stands up in hours.

Life sciences and pharma. Approved indications, claims, and safety disclaimers are enforced automatically, so nothing goes out off-label and medical, legal, and regulatory review is accelerated.

Consumer packaged goods (CPG). Ingredient, nutrition, and claim language stays consistent across markets and retail partners, and localizes without drifting off-message.

B2B technology. Capabilities, integrations, specs, and positioning stay accurate across the catalog and every comparison page, even as the roadmap moves.

Retail and ecommerce. Product descriptions and category pages generate and refresh at catalog scale, with pricing and promotions current and the long tail held to the same quality as your hero SKUs. A Fortune 500 home goods e-commerce company had a massive catalog of SKUs requiring unique, on-brand product descriptions. Manual writing was slow (taking 12 to 15 minutes per SKU) and expensive to scale. They also needed to maintain distinct brand voices for different sub-brands. Using Jasper’s custom templates and Jasper IQ, they ingested product specifications at scale to automatically generate on-brand copy. This resulted in reduced writing time per SKU from 12 to 15 minutes to 8 to 10 minutes and increased production per writer from 150 to 200 SKUs per week (a 30% increase in speed). (Gartner, Emerging Tech: Tech Innovators, 2026).

Across teams

Product marketing. Launch messaging stays consistent across every asset and channel, from the PDP to the campaign to the sales one-pager. When positioning shifts, the change reaches every piece at once, so nothing ships describing the product the old way.

Ecommerce and merchandising. Every SKU gets an accurate, on-brand product description page (PDP), not just the hero products. The long tail that never got attention finally has descriptions built to convert and correct on specs and pricing.

Content operations. Teams stand up and refresh hundreds of products at once instead of writing and fact-checking one item at a time. That reclaims the QA hours that used to gate every launch, without adding headcount.

Brand, legal, and compliance. Approved claims and required disclaimers are applied automatically at generation time. Reviewers move from rewriting every draft to spot-checking a system they can trust, so compliance stops bottlenecking launches.

Governance is the new unlock

There is no shortage of general-purpose AI right now. Copilot, ChatGPT, and Gemini can all generate a product description in seconds. That is exactly the point. Generation is a commodity now, and it is not where the advantage lives.

The advantage lives in context, and general-purpose AI does not have yours. Product truth cannot be prompted into existence. It has to be captured from your systems, structured, and enforced every time an agent generates. Enterprise AI without governed context is a race car without a map.

When you create product content, a wrong turn compounds. A bad claim is not a typo you fix later. It becomes a compliance exposure, and it hardens into how AI search represents your products to the next buyer, months before it shows up in your pipeline. Getting this right takes domain specificity, built into the system, not a generic execution layer you point at your catalog and hope for the best.

This is what we have been building toward: marketing run as a governed agent system, where scale and governance finally hold together.

How do I get started?

Product IQ is live in general availability now. Already in Jasper? Define your first products in a few minutes, or let agentic setup import your catalog for you. New to Jasper? Talk to sales and we will walk through your catalog and what governed product content looks like for your team.
