What’s New in August 2026

Governed Product Truth, Wherever Your Team Already Works

Most marketing teams don't have a content problem. They have a truth problem.

Product facts are scattered by default. Some live in a PIM, some in a spec sheet, some on the website, some in three people's heads. So every asset starts by reassembling facts that already exist somewhere else, and two people writing about the same product ship two different versions of it.

August's release goes after that directly. Product IQ now holds a governed catalog of what you sell. The Jasper Claude Connector carries that catalog, along with your brand voice, audiences, and knowledge, to anyone drafting in Claude. And the GEO Agent grounds its recommendations in Google Search Console data, then routes the work to the systems where pages actually get published.

Here's everything new this month, and how to put it to work.

Turn Scattered Product Facts Into an Agent-Ready Catalog You Control

Ask an AI writing app to describe your product and it invents the specs. So the marketer pastes in whatever they found that morning. Two people write about the same SKU, ship two different sets of facts, and anyone in a regulated category fact-checks every draft by hand.

Product IQ is now generally available. It gathers those scattered facts into one workspace catalog, stored as structured data and is available at generation alongside your brand voice, style guide, knowledge, and audiences.

  • Build your catalog from what you already have. Point Jasper at your website, your Knowledge Base, or a set of files. It proposes a schema and drafts a starting catalog, so setup becomes a review instead of a build. 11 Jasper-maintained attribute templates come grouped by industry, and you can add your own.
  • Control who can touch the catalog. Claims, disclaimers, and risk language sit in the catalog as governed attributes rather than something a writer has to remember. Admin settings control who can edit products and who can change the schema.
  • Bring products into any generation. Attach products in Chat, Canvas, or Grid, and choose exactly which attributes travel with them. The catalog is also available through the API and MCP, so agents and automations reach the same governed facts your marketers do.

Bring Governed Brand Context Into Claude

A governed catalog only helps where your team is working. And plenty of your teams work in Claude. Until now, every one of those sessions started from zero: no brand voice, no approved product facts, no style rules, just whatever context someone remembered to paste in. That doesn't scale.

Jasper is now in the Claude Connector Marketplace, so a single click connects your workspace and Claude pulls directly from your governed Jasper IQ context. Nobody re-explains brand guidelines in every prompt, and nothing drafted in Claude has to be governed after the fact.

  • Stop restating your brand in every prompt. Claude pulls your brand voice, style guide, audiences, knowledge, and products from Jasper. Set it once in Jasper; it applies to every draft in Claude.
  • Run Jasper agents without leaving Claude. Kick off a Jasper agent, including GEO and translation, without switching apps to start the same task twice.
  • Hand Jasper the file you're working from. A deck, a brief, or your own template goes straight into a Jasper generation as a temporary attachment. Jasper does the extraction, so the structure survives, and nothing lands in your Knowledge Base to clean up later.

Ground Your GEO Workflows in Google Search Console Data

Google Search Console is now available directly inside the GEO Agent. Once connected, the Agent pulls clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and average position into its reasoning, helping you prioritize based on how people actually search alongside how AI engines currently answer.

  • Prioritize fixes using real search data. The Agent factors Search Console metrics in alongside Jasper AI visibility scores to recommend which queries to target and which pages to fix first.
  • Take Agent work straight into a Grid. The Agent can now read a Grid attached to a conversation and, when a fix list runs long, offer to output the work into a Grid instead of cramming it into chat.
  • Easily find and connect integrations. It’s never been easier to set up integrations with the GEO Agent to popular tools like Asana, Monday.com, Google Search Console, Semrush, and more.

Everything Else: Faster Imports, Cleaner Exports, Sharper Images

This month also includes a set of supporting improvements that make everyday work faster, cleaner, and easier to govern across teams.

  • Send anyone straight to the source. Jasper API deeplinks (appUrl) now return on every resource (documents, brand voices, audiences, knowledge items, style guides, agent tasks, and projects) so a link opens the real thing in Jasper instead of a raw ID.
  • Grab an ID without hunting for it. Copy External ID is now available for projects, grids, and documents, matching what shipped for IQ assets and agents earlier this year.
  • Export straight to Jira. Attach a Jasper doc to a Jira issue, or link out to it from Cloud Storage, extending the export flow already live for Asana, Monday, and Workfront.
  • Load Knowledge in batches, not one file at a time. Bulk import local files into the Knowledge Base: drop multiple files at once, set visibility and tags for the whole batch, and each file becomes its own named item.
  • See permissions at a glance. The Permission Settings page is grouped into clear sections with role-based dropdowns instead of toggles that were easy to second-guess.
  • Name your analysis before you build it. GEO Hub setup now opens with a name field, instead of leaving naming to a dropdown after the fact.
  • Read every tab, not just the first. Multi-tab Excel and Google Sheets uploads now get read in full, and you can ask for a value from a specific tab by name or number.
  • Clean up images without the rework. A new inpainting engine improves head, text, and repetitive-object removal.
  • Hold images for less time, by design. Zero data retention for images is now enforced at the point of consumption, so transient images are deleted as soon as inference is done with them.

How Do I Get Started?

Product IQ gives AI one source of truth for what you sell. The Claude Connector carries that governance into the apps your team already drafts in. And the GEO enhancements ground what you optimize in real search behavior. Pick the entry point closest to your current work.

  • You write about products. Open Product IQ and point it at your website. Review the catalog Jasper drafts, add additional context, and attach a few products to your next generation.
  • You works in Claude. Open Settings in Claude, go to Connectors, and connect your Jasper workspace. One connection puts your brand voice, style guide, audiences, knowledge, and products into every Claude session.
  • GEO is your mandate. Connect Google Search Console in the GEO Agent. It takes a minute, and your next conversation prioritizes against your company’s real search performance.
