Instead of manually building Salesforce reports, exporting contact lists, and re-uploading data into separate content platforms, the Agent handles the entire workflow inside Jasper.

It queries your CRM in real time, generates structured contact tables, and enables personalized content creation at scale, without switching between tools or reformatting data. The Personalization Agent uses backslash commands to interpret natural-language queries and retrieve targeted contact lists from your CRM. Yes. Jasper uses secure OAuth for authentication and encrypts all data in transit. CRM data is queried only when needed for your specific task and is not permanently stored on Jasper's servers. All data handling follows enterprise-grade security standards to protect customer information.

The Agent follows your Salesforce field names exactly as they appear in your CRM. If a field isn't found, it may be named differently than expected (for example, "Employee Count" instead of "Company Size"). Use the # symbol inside the Agent to display all available fields, or confirm the correct field name with your Salesforce administrator.

While the Agent can generate content, the recommended workflow separates list creation from content generation. First, use the Agent to query your CRM and build a targeted contact list. Then, use a Jasper Agent or Studio-built workflow to generate personalized content using that list as context. This approach delivers higher-quality outputs and greater control over messaging.

The Agent can handle large contact lists, with practical limits depending on your CRM's API capacity and Jasper's processing thresholds. Most workflows handle several hundred contacts without issues. For very large lists or custom requirements, contact your Customer Success Manager for tailored support and optimization recommendations.

Yes. Contact lists generated by the Agent live inside your Jasper Canvas and can be saved to your Jasper Knowledge Base for future campaigns. Lists can also be reused across workflows or imported into Jasper Grid (coming soon), a dedicated interface for transforming lists into personalized content at scale.
