The referral cookie life is 45 days. If someone clicks on an affiliate link and buys within 45 days of the most recent click, the affiliate will receive credit for referring the customer. If they buy after 45 days, the affiliate is not considered to have influenced the purchase, the cookie will expire, and the affiliate will not receive commissions.
Jasper has three plans: Creator, Pro, and Business.
Affiliate partners can make commissions on Creator and Pro plans because they are self-serve. All you have to do is recommend your audience to start their free trial. The Teams plan is best for company sizes of 2-200 employees. Affiliates will earn 25% recurring commission on every payment made by their referred customer for up to 12 months. The amount of earnings will grow as accounts add more users over time.
The Business Plan is not commissionable because customers must engage with Jasper's sales team to create a custom contract for their company. The Business Plan is best for company sizes of 200+ employees.
No. Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. The aim of a referral program is to encourage affiliates and ambassadors to spread the word about our product(s), not to get discounts. Attempts to get credit for your own purchase will result in termination of your affiliate and user account for life.
In short all 3 of these must be true:
1. Net-30
2. Commissions due exceeds $25
3. First week of the month
In the first week of every month, we pay out all commissions that are at least $25 and for sign ups that happened at least 30 days prior.
Example: An affiliate named "Chris" refers his client "Megan" who starts her subscription for $49/mo on March 20th.
On April 20th (30 days after payment) Megan's payment has not been disputed or refunded, so Chris's commission of $12.25 (25% of $49) moves from "Pending" to "Due".
On May 1st, Chris only has $12.25 in commissions which is less than the $25 needed to get paid.
However, throughout April Chris referred 2 other clients whose pending commission are about to be due!
On June 1st, Chris now has 3 commissions of $12.25 totaling $36.75, which is greater than $25, so he is paid out all his commissions via PayPal
The most successful affiliates are Jasper customers who develop expertise and authority, but it is not required to be a Jasper customer in order to be a part of the program.
