Announcing Jasper for Business

Today at the first annual Gen AI event, we introduced Jasper for Business, a new suite of enhancements to help businesses adopt AI without losing their brand identity or adding friction to their workflow. 

We’ve been engrossed as I’m sure you have to see the rapid adoption of generative AI over the last year, but for too many businesses AI is stuck in the realm of party tricks, and hasn’t yet proven itself as a reliable tool their entire teams could use daily. 

While it’s clear how AI can help scale content creation, most AI tools still produce pretty generic results and require teams to break from their flow of work to use them. That’s why we’ve built out several enhancements to make Jasper fit teams and brands better.  

Jasper Brand Voice

In a time when options are endless, your Brand’s differentiated personality is more important than ever. Shown for the first time today, Jasper Brand Voice will allow businesses to customize their AI-powered content.

By training Jasper on the language, tone, and style of your unique brand, our AI engine can build upon foundational language models to layer in your company information and brand characteristics, so that you can generate content that speaks to your audience in a way that’s authentic and identifiable. 

Brand voice takes into account three pillars of identity:

• Knowledge: The products and services you offer, industry you’re a part of and market you’re selling to.
• Tone: What your brand sounds like and how you portray your voice to your target audience. 
• Style: The verbiage, grammar, formality and punctuation rules of your brand that will look and feel cohesive across all medium and written interactions. 

This solution allows your entire team to create content with Jasper that’s consistently on-brand, formatted correctly and has the most up-to-date details about your product offerings. So no matter the size of your organization, you can rely on Jasper to bring your brand alive in every piece of content.

Use Jasper anywhere your teams work

Brand voice is just the first step to bending AI to your business. For AI to be truly useful for teams, you need to be able to call upon that brand voice anywhere you create.

In December, Jasper introduced its first extension, through an initiative we’re calling Jasper Everywhere, we’re pleased to announce that Jasper’s extension has been completely relaunched as an in-line experience. Now, wherever you write, you can have Jasper’s purple cursor available for a little on-brand assistance. 

Our improved browser extension can be accessed across email, social channels, CMS systems, notes apps and more — so you never have to leave the application you're using to tap into AI-assistance and on-brand messaging. We also expanded the browser extension to work in both Chrome and Microsoft Edge - so regardless of your browser preferences, your little robot sidekick will be there for you. 

Finally, we have announced the availability of the Jasper API.  So if you have a custom CMS or are a developer for a content platform of any type, you can integrate Jasper directly into that platform. 

Collaborate with anyone

In the past, generative AI has been a secret weapon for individual creators, beginning today it can become the connective tissue for your entire team.  We’ve introduced new collaboration features this month that make coordinating across your team easier:

• Give everyone on your team their own Jasper space with the appropriate level of access
• Share documents right in Jasper and collaborate in real time with your team
• Manage your content creation workflows and keep track of everything with simple document statuses

We think shared tools are the start to increasing coordination across your teams and an entry point to up-leveling the AI literacy and skill in your company.  

The Jasper AI Engine: Building the best models for the job

We’re often asked what’s behind Jasper’s AI outputs. Or how Jasper is different from just using an LLM. The secret to Jasper sits in our AI Engine. 

When a creator submits a prompt, Jasper’s AI Engine selects the right model for that job across a collection of LLMs, we then overlay that with reliable citations and recent searches from Google, infuse the output with what you’ve taught us about your brand and products, and release a result that is tailored, current, and optimized for marketing.
